A TOP honour has been awarded to a woman for her outstanding service to Avon.
Kay Walker-Muff has today (Thursday) been described as 'the perfect sales leader' and was presented with Avon's President's Award.

The prestigious award is designed to celebrate its recipient's leadership qualities, enthusiasm and passion for the
job and is given annually at the Avon Live Your Dream event.

Kay, of North Frodingham, who has been an Avon representative for 20 years, said: "I couldn't believe it when my name was called out. I'm absolutely thrilled to receive this award.

"I never expected to be rewarded like this for simply doing a job I love."

Nominated for the award by her manager, Kay decided to try her hand at sales leadership three years ago after a very successful 20 years as a representative.

Now Kay manages 31 people and she has given up her part-time job to concentrate on developing her Avon business.

Anna Segatti, Avon President in the UK and Ireland, said: "It's good to see such a deserving winner as Kay walk away with the President's Award.
"This is the "Live Your Dream" equivalent of an Olympic gold medal and Kay's a winner here today thanks to her effort and determination.

"Our sales leaders are essential to Avon's success as a business and it's great to acknowledge their hard work and dedication. I must also credit Kay's enthusiastic fundraising for Avon's Breast Cancer Crusade; it is because of support like this that Avon has been able to raise over £14 million towards the breast cancer cause in the UK to date."

Kay is holding a charity coffee morning to raise money for Avon's Breast Cancer Crusade on Saturday October 18 from 10am to 12noon at Beeford Community Centre.
