THE Dave Howe Memorial Sevens went off successfully on Sunday at Driffield RUFC with five teams, drawn from players inside the club, completing in a round robin format for the handsome trophy (pictured right) donated by his family.
The trophy was won by Alasdair McClarron’s team, which included Robin Kitching and Will Ollett and provided a good day out for all attending.
Driffield were opening their season with a friendly at Pocklington last night, when they hoped to take over twenty players for a training game of four twenty-minute quarters.
